On Tuesday, March 1, the television show Chicago Fire will be shooting scenes for one of the season’s final shows at the Broadway Bank bldg., 5960 N. Broadway.
The planned shoot will be from 6:00am – 6:00pm.
There will be parking restrictions throughout the area starting at 3:00am – 6:00pm and they are as follows:
BOTH sides of Broadway, Thorndale to Glenlake
BOTH sides of Magnolia, Thorndale to Elmdale
BOTH sides of Elmdale, Magnolia to Broadway
BOTH sides of Thorndale, Lakewood to Broadway
To help alleviate some of the residential parking concerns, alternative parking for residents who live on these blocks is being provided. To make arrangements, please contact the Locations Department at 708/ 308-0310.

Street Closures are as follows:
Broadway will be closed from Thorndale to Glenlake when the filming is taking place.
There will be one lane of traffic available on the eastside of Broadway at all other times.
There will also be intermittent traffic control on Elmdale, starting at Glenwood.
There will be many staged emergency vehicles on Broadway throughout the day.
There will be no explosions, no flames, and the noise from the shoot should be little if any.
