The CPD 24th District Commander Roberto Nieves will attend the Beat 2433 meeting at 7:00pm next Tuesday, April 26th, at the Edgewater Library, 6000 N. Broadway. Commander Nieves is launching a series of speakers at bimonthly meetings on topics to be determined by Beat 2433 members. He will welcome your concerns, comments and assessments of community policing.
Representatives of Alderman Patrick O’Connor (40th) and Alderman Harry Osterman (48th) will also attend the April 26th and subsequent monthly meetings. They will deliver reports on public safety efforts being undertaken by their respective offices. Feel free to also bring 311-related requests to meetings for more expeditious handling.
