Update from the 48th Ward office:
“IDOT has signed off on the permit request for the Ridge Avenue water main project. Signs will begin going up tomorrow Wednesday (7/6) at the perimeter of the project, and the remainder of the signs are scheduled to be up no later than Thursday (7/7). The project will begin on Monday July 11th.
We understand the traffic burden a project of this size will have on our community and we will do our best to minimize the impact throughout the project.
