Please see the attached notice from Alderman Osterman with regards to the Broadway Resurfacing Project:
“CDOT has informed my office that the Broadway Resurfacing Project is scheduled to begin this week, as early as Tuesday, 8/16. This project is scheduled to last approx. 4 weeks.
Parking restrictions go into effect starting on Tuesday, 8/16
This very important infrastructure improvement project on Broadway includes the following:
1. Milling/asphalt removal -1 week
2. Leveling binder mix installed – 1 week
3. All structure adjustments & flatwork addressed -1 week
4. Asphalt resurfacing & pavement markings installed -1 week
Parking restrictions are in effect from 6:00am -4:30pm, Mon -Fri.
(parking is available on Broadway in the evenings and on weekends)
All work is weather permitting.
The plan is to keep one lane of traffic open in each direction during work days and then open traffic up to two lanes in each direction, starting at 5:00pm on weekdays and on weekends.
