If you are you interested joining the EGA Board of Directors and working with your neighbors to improve our neighborhood, the EGA is seeking residents interested in serving on its 11 member Board which will be elected at the Annual EGA Garden Walk for the coming year.
The time commitment is minimal, with the Board typically meeting monthly. To be eligible to run you must be an Edgewater Glen resident and paid member in good standing at least 30 days prior to the election.
To run for the Board please complete this form. Nomination submissions are due no later than June 16th. Should you wish to briefly tell us a word about yourself and/or interest in running for the Board use the “Comments” section.
Since 1971, the EGA has worked to improve Edgewater Glen by representing resident’s interests at public forums, maintaining and improving relationships with the area’s elected officials and acting as an area advocate on critical issues. The EGA also organizes activities that build community and takes the lead in efforts to improve the neighborhood such as:
- The Garage Sale
- Annual Edgewater Glen Garden Walk
- The Spring & Fall Edgewater Glen Plant Swaps
- Street corner beautification grants
- Planting of replacement parkway trees
- Revised & improved development plan for 6145 N. Broadway
