Thanks to our friends at the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce for filming, editing, and posting the video from last night’s forum. Thanks again to all of the block club presidents, the three Chambers of Commerce, Pat Whalen (who did a great job moderating!), Father Bob and the folks at St Ita’s for hosting, and a big shout out to Christina Pfitzinger from the Edgewater Chamber making it happen. We are lucky to have her in the community.

The results of the 48th Ward block club coalition survey were distributed back in January. Along with the other candidates, Joe and Leni responded to more than 30 questions addressing governing style, city finances, economic development, environment, housing, public safety, and transportation.

About the survey:
This survey was developed with the support of the Allied Block Clubs, the Edgewater Chamber of Commerce, neighbors from across the ward, and local non-profits.

Edgewater Glen’s Spring Plant Swap will be held Saturday, May 20th, from 10 am until noon in the backyard at 1420 W. Glenlake, weather permitting. The rain delay alternative date is Sunday, May 21st, same time & place.

Spring is a great time to thin and share hostas, ferns, and any other plants or gardening paraphernalia for which you would like to find a home.
