2023 Edgewater Yard Sale will be Saturday, June 3rd (No block parties to be held).
This special event helps to bring us together as neighbors, not to mention an opportunity to raise a little cash from those unwanted items. Other neighborhoods around us in Edgewater participate in this event, creating a synergy that maximizes our advertising and promotion.

The Edgewater Yard Sale is typically held on the first Saturday of June, rain or shine. Participants can set up shop in their front yards or the alley, although the front yards seem to get more traffic. A fee is required to obtain the necessary City of Chicago license and advertising costs. Sign-up details will be announced in the spring.
Please avoid holding block parties on this date to accommodate increased street traffic.
Registration Information:
You must be registered and paid in advance to participate. Registration is $10.00 per dwelling unit. If you live in a condo or apartment, the cost is $10.00 per household participating.
